Coca-Cola FEMSA Brazil was incorporated in May of 2003, when FEMSA acquired 100% of the largest franchise in the Coca-Cola system in Latin America (PANAMCO).
In January 2007, in partnership with The Coca Cola Company, Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOF) acquired Jugos del Valle (JDV) with whom it will attain a strong presence in the non-carbonated beverage markets of Mexico and Brazil.
In June 2008, Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOF) successfully closed a transaction with The Coca-Cola Company to acquire its Refrigerantes Minas Gerais Ltda. franchise territory. (Remil). With this transaction, we increased by more than a third our presence in Brazil, one of the most dynamic and growing markets around the world.
In Brazil, Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A. de C.V. produces and distributes The Coca-Cola Company brands in the areas of Sao Paulo, Campinas, Santos, part of the State of Mato Grosso de Sul and part of the State of Goias.
To get closer to our clients and consumers in Brazil we operate as an integral supplier for them, offering a complete beverages portfolio, that includes soft drinks, bottled water and juices, with outstanding brands, such as: Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light and Coca-Cola Light con Limón; Fanta and Fanta Light; Kuat, Kuat Light and Kuat Naranja; Schweppes, Sprite and Sprite Light, Simba and Taí, and the bottled water brand Crystal.
